If you need to reset your MetaTrader 5 (MT5) account password, follow these simple steps to ensure everything stays secure and working properly:
Make sure you have 2FA enabled
1. Log in to your MT5 account
2. Access your account
3. Once inside, go to the account menu and click on the three dots located in the upper right corner.
4. Reset your password
a. Select the type of password to change
b. Choose which type of password you want to reset (either master , inverter , or both ).
c. Enter the new password
d. Enter the Google Authenticator code
